— a region renowned for its magnificent vineyards, Nebbiolo wines and culinary treasures!

Signature Tour Program — Discovering Piedmont

Start of the Day: our wine tour to the Langhe wine region begins with an early rise to make the most of the day and fill it with wonderful impressions. On the way, we’ll host an introductory wine masterclass, where you'll learn about Piedmont’s winemaking traditions and the unique character of the Nebbiolo grape.

Arrival in La Morra: this charming town is famous for its elegant Barolo wines. By now, you may already know that Barolo and Barbaresco, the region’s most iconic red wines, are both made from Nebbiolo. Here, we’ll explore their differences and subtleties, directly at the source.

Scenic Viewpoint Stop: enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Langhe hills from a local viewpoint. We’ll then head to the Cantina Communale for a wine tasting featuring different styles and expressions of the region. Experts will be available to help you select wine souvenirs to bring home for your personal cellar.

Lunch: savour a traditional Piedmontese lunch with stunning vineyard views. You’ll enjoy local gourmet cuisine and learn the basics of wine and food pairing using a variety of dishes as examples.

Wine Tasting Experience: after lunch, we’ll visit the village of Barolo and tour the historic family winery Marchesi
di Barolo. There, you’ll dive into centuries-old winemaking traditions, where strict methods are still followed to produce the wine often called: “The wine of kings and the king of wines”.

Return to Milan. Still craving more? You can also choose to visit the interactive wine museum WiMu — Museo del Vino, which reveals the secrets of local winemaking through immersive exhibits.

Want to Expand the Journey?

You can extend the experience to two days, allowing you to explore not only Barolo, but also: Barbaresco, known for its equally famous red Nebbiolo wines Monferrato, another historic and picturesque wine area Le Cattedrali Sotterranee (“The Underground Cathedrals”) — majestic cellars where the region’s beloved sparkling Asti Spumante is aged And if you're a white wine lover or looking for some shopping, Gavi and other delightful Piedmont towns have just what you’re looking for!
