Your journey begins with a meeting with your tour guide in the city of Parma. The tour can be conducted using your own vehicle or via organised transfer arranged by our company (transfer cost is calculated separately depending on the number of participants).

From Parma, you’ll head to a prosciutto di Parma (Parma ham) production facility. There, you’ll be greeted by a friendly and cheerful Italian host, the estate owner, who will reveal the secrets of Parma ham production. You’ll witness every stage of aging, learn about the origins of this craft and how traditional D.O.P. (Protected Designation of Origin) recipes are preserved.

Next, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Emilia-Romagna countryside while tasting Parma ham paired with local Lambrusco wine, the perfect combination!

After the factory visit, you’ll head to a fairytale-like medieval castle with a captivating love story, built by Count Pier Maria Rossi for his beloved Bianca. The castle’s magnificent interiors feature 16th-century grotesque frescoes, including the stunning “Golden Room”, where 15th-century ceiling and wall frescoes recount the passionate tale of Pier Maria and Bianca.

The journey continues to a local enoteca for a Lambrusco wine tasting. The owner will share the history of the wine, guide you through different Lambrusco varieties and surely convince you it's the best wine in the world!
